Open field space on the lower half of Moorfields estate.
We’ve had to replace our garden fence due to storm damage, but there is an area behind our garden in the field that never gets attended to and is ignored. Over the years people have fly tipped in this spot because it’s quite hidden.
To be able to replace our fence we have had to cut this area back, because it had overgrown where our old gate was, and will block where our new gate will be going. Obviously the waste matter wasn’t from our property and my husband has piled it up, as you will see from the pictures. We wondered if someone could come and collect it and dispose it? We have previously done this ourselves but currently we can’t get rid of our own garden waste, from some decking we built, let alone the excess shrubbery from the field. So it would be much appreciated if the waste from this area could be collected?
There was very recently a couple of dead fir trees dumped there, which we originally thought was someone’s Christmas tree. However, having cleared the area we found it was dead fir trees that someone has pulled up from their garden (would love to know who dumped it!). But around the time they were dumped, there was this branch with foam dumped up near our garden fence in the field. My husband picked it up to dispose of it but some wasps had started to make a nest out of it. He threw it further away from the fence so he could continue working without getting stung. It’s quite an active wasps nest now, as my husband was stung yesterday while cutting back this area, as he accidentally knocked the nest with one of these dead fir trees. I’ve attached a picture of it. We are happy to remove the nest once the wasps have moved on, assuming it’s wasps and that they do eventually move on. But wanted to make you aware so that no one tries to pick it up with the rest of the waste.
We really appreciate your help with this.
