Overgrown hedge/trees blocking footpath.
Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 16:43, Wed 17 June 2020 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2160578.
The footpath boarders Cranwell Grove and the Whitchurch Town Green which is Council owned land. Originally this hedge was cut back on a yearly basis by council contractors in autumn but was not done last year. The foot bath is now about 70 cms wide in places and not the 1.20 metres or more it originally was. I have cut back several bits which were sticking out at eye level. It must be very difficult for anyone with a wide buggy or mobility scooter to now use the path. Whilst I appreciate that this is wrong time of year to cut back I look forward to seeing it attended to as soon as the birds have fledged.

The photo, which I can't enlarge, is labelled "Top of Fortfield Road". Whilst there are no doubt other problem on the estate the photo is not near the area I am concerned about.

There is still a problem with the hedge from Whitchurch Town Green overgrowing the path in front of the houses 11-14 Cranwell Grove. Council contractors "cut back" bits of the hedge about 6-8 weeks ago however the attached pictures were taken today. Anyone on a mobility scooter of with a pram has a problem. The original width of the path appears to be 1.5 metres but where the photos were taken is between 30-40 cm wide. Can this be dealt with please.
