Resident storing building materials on Highway
Reported in the Obstruction on road or pavement category by Geoffrey Davis - South Stoke Parish Clerk at 20:28, Mon 1 June 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2138205.
Building materials have been stored on the road for three or more weeks and are still there. Residents have complained to me as Parish Clerk. The road appears to be used as storage space rather than moving the delivery into the drive off the road. In consequence the skip is located on a narrower part of the road causing more of an obstruction.

Building Materials remain stored on the highway which prevent the skip being located away from the bend. With the re-opening of the pub this has the potential to be a road safety issue.

Still open, via questionnaire -
Skip and Building Materials now located in a better position and not causing a problem. Although building materials should not be stored on highway for prolonged periods.
