Vehicle abandoned on public highway, arrived on 7/03/20.

Reported in the Abandoned vehicles category by Mrs. Lesley Pippard at 12:03, Thursday 23 April 2020 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 2 minutes later

Vehicle has been abandoned for almost 2 months on Barrow Rd outside number 20. Checked details on Gov.uk and found it failed MOT on 6/03/20 due to vehicle being deemed dangerous and stating not to be driven - I do not understand how it left the MOT station? Vehicle remains taxed to 1/07/20. Initially thought vehicle parked up due to owner self isolating but as time went on we did investigate details as stated above. We do not know owner or recognise the vehicle as local to our residence.

  • I would like to know what results you have found from your investigation as stated on your last report dated 24th April 2020. The car is now obviously looking abandoned and likely to attract attention from those who may damage/loot it. I am seriously concerned it may be set alight and the near vicinity of residence would cause harm to life. Look forward to hearing from you soon.
