Leaving bin out during gale force winds

Reported via Android in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 17:23, Thursday 13 February 2020

Sent to Sheffield City Council 2 minutes later

A blue bin has been left on the street for a, while now, & it was only a matter of time before the contents ended up on the street. Surprisingly, someone actually put the bin upright & did put most of the rubbish, not paper or cardboard, back into the BIN. bravo!!! 👏 👏 Some rubbish, however, is now littering the pavement, which was recently cleaned; the bin is still full of rubbish, and to keep the blue bin company, someone has decided to put a fridge- freezer next to it.

Updates

  • It took a few attempts to get this sorted, as the blue bin is the responsibility of Veolia. The Local Authority are responsible for picking up the dead rat and the fridge-freezer. Due to the delay in picking up the rat and the rubbish on the pavement, I believe a lovely resident decided to clean it up. A good team effort in the end!!!! 😀
