Continual Flytipping and Abuse of private property outside 228 Brownhill Road Catford.
Reported in the Fly-Tipping category anonymously at 16:10, Mon 13 January 2020
Sent to Lewisham Borough Council 6 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1935152.
There has been continued abuse of the front private area of 228 Brownhill Road,Catford SE6 1AT by flytippers who some locals say is connected with locals at the back of the garages and Wali Motors behind 228 Brownhill Road.People are coming and going from those properties behind the garages and either the tennants or the landlords are responsible, usually it consists of household rubbish like beds and mattresses and broken furniture, filling up the residential bins too which never get emptied by the waste bin men.
Gas meters are connected to the side of the building to 228 and enclosed along the alley but the flytippers have disposed of rubbish inside that area too.
It should be pointed out too that a number of individuals working in the "garage" on the left of the alley opposite Wali Motors have been abusing the bins outside as well as smashing glass beer bottles making the pathways dangerous so they are not helping with regards to keeping the area clean and safe and using the area as a private urinal which is a health hazard.
Rats have been confirmed inside 2 of the flats in 228 over the last year so this is utterly unacceptable to have all the mess outside like this.At times the local authority has cleared the flytipping only for it to return again by the same culprits who as i said earlier were mentioned as above.

Quite honestly what an absolute joke the local authority is when it comes to matters of dealing with flytipping.I shouldn't have even bothered really, supposedly was given priority to a local "team",well over 3 weeks later the dumped flytipping was still here.
It is any wonder why these London Boroughs get labelled as a "dump" or "sh*t hole" when the authorities never seem to care or actually act on the problem and yet people still have to live a life with this health hazards which not only look unsightly but can encourage rats and health problems with the smells.
I wonder what the recently reelected Labour MP would think of the local council and their pathetic response and lack of any real action.
Thankfully some decent guys working on a property below cleaned the flytipping.
