Dropped kerb allows water to flow down pavement and very close to cellar

Reported in the Drainage category anonymously at 11:05, Tue 3 December 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later. Council ref: 1872426.

Rain water comes down New Street and the dropper kerb on the corner of the Long Stay Car park access road allows water to run onto the pavement. We live at 26 New Street and because of the fall of the pavement, it ran very close to our cellar windows. It was very close to flooding our cellar which has been recently refurbished.

We would like to meet an engineer on site to show them the issue. The granite cobbles will need to relaid so that the dropper kerb starts slightly closer to the pavement and stops the water from running down onto the pavement.

Happy to discuss on the phone on at the site if it helps.
