Tree fallen across the railing between BMW garage and Bus Stop. London Road, Wycombe Marsh High Wycombe

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 11:27, Wed 27 November 2019

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later

Some weeks ago presumably through bad weather a tree fell from the opposite bank across the river and fell onto the railings which separate the public footpath and the river. Someone, ( don’t know who) places comes around the area and subsequently cut back the branches overhanging the footpath but the tree is still lying across the barrier and the barrier is obviously still in need of repair. The tree appears to have fallen from private property but it is assumed that the damaged barrier is the responsibility of the highway authority. Would it be possible please to have the tree removed and the barrier repaired as soon as possible? Thank you

  • This has still not been dealt with. It is dangerous as the barrier to the river is damaged and access to the river is possible.
