Rubbish on street
Reported via iOS in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 10:04, Fri 22 November 2019
Sent to Lewisham Borough Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1857125.
Rubbish spilled all over the road when bins collected this-morning (not just here but whole length of road). Several bins on the road not emptied despite being on pavement. This mess joins the litter that was already there to ensure that Tressillian Road continues to resemble a rubbish dump. I have also enjoyed having to tip toe around piles of rotting leaves for the past three weeks. They are extremely slippery and present a safety hazard, especially for young or older residents. Nice one Lewisham.

Yep, the road and indeed all of that conservation area was a constantly strewn with litter. Worst I’ve ever seen by a long way and I’ve lived in other boroughs with high levels of inequality (Hackney, Lambeth). Lewisham response inadequate: ‘referred to missed collection team’. This does not address the hazard of rotting leaves or litter on the street.
