Corner of straight bit and chapel road

Reported in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 17:35, Sunday 27 October 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later

There is a section of pavement intended to be a crossing point for people with disabilities, pushchair users and people with mobility problems. There is a persistent puddle with leaves in it that makes it slippy. The path and kerb have subsided and the pavement has an adverse camber which makes it treacherous for the intended users to use. Users are avoiding the spot which makes their crossing more dangerous. Please fix!

  • Re: "We work on a priority based risk matrix"

Please can you provide details of how your "priority based risk matrix" operates and what the priority of the job we are discussing is? I'm sure my neighbours who monitor this service will want to know whether this work has been assigned any priority that will lead to it being carried out (i.e. "at all") rather than it just being on a list.

    Thanks for your further help.

  • This issue was reported frequently in 2018 & still no action. There has already been at least one slipping accident caused by the adverse camber.I note that the area was marked out as if to be repaired weeks ago, but the markings have now eroded. Where is the job is your priorities? The camber is severe & DANGEROUS.
