Removal of graffiti
Reported via iOS in the Graffiti category anonymously at 22:56, Tue 15 October 2019
Sent to Brent Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1806832.
Queens Park is one of London’s prime residential locations and should be a jewel in Brent Council’s borough.
This graffiti (coupled with the torn advertising at the top of the same wall) is what greets everyone from drivers to pedestrians as they come off Carlton Vale and onto Salisbury Road.
What a turn off and what a shame that the vibrant, popular and buzzing heart of Queens Park should begin with this horrible sight which conveys an image of Council neglect, vandalism and crime...this is not what Queen’s Park is about.
Please, could something be done to remove the graffiti and torn advertising from this wall.

I used FixMyStreet to ask Brent Council to remove graffiti and loose advertising from the side of the buildings opposite Queen's Park underground station. The intention was to make the "entrance" to Queen's Park cleaner and more welcoming to everyone. At the moment, the graffiti and loose advertising, in my view, do not convey a message that Queen's Park is safe and welcoming to families, young people, old people and from all cultures and social backgrounds.
