Some drains were cleared others were non accessable

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 4 minutes later. Council ref: 356715.
Two gentlemen from the contractor came last Friday(4th)they cleaned and extracted the drains that were fully blocked, access was not available to some of the other drains. No signs had been placed near the locations where this work was to be undertaken consequently only some of the locations were cleared A leaflet had been placed through some of the letterboxes but of course many people simply park and leave their vehicles and are unaware that road maintenance is planned at all Signs need to be placed on location 2/3 days prior to start so as all the points can be cleaned and serviced properly. The result of this non coordinated arrangement is the drains soon fill and backup again as they did Sunday (6th) morning The drains need cleaning again The two gentlemen did a good job unfortunately limited by poor communication with the public via the Highways/Council In summary sadly we are back to the start and only part of the work has been achieved Best regards Peter King

This fault will be fixed as part of our next cycle of works. We cut the grass three times a year and treat weeds twice a year between April and October. We clean highway drains once a year.
