This is a raised area of a semi-circular walkway at the top of Cambridge Road and Wellington Road North. The area is in a complete state of disrepair, and is dangerous and unlevel. The area is adjacent to St. Michael & St. Martin's Primary School and is regularly used to walk across as the pavement is too narrow for buggies, and parents with young children to navigate. The area is also continually used as a dumping ground. I have previously asked why cameras cannot be installed, and was told this is not possible. Why not? It is the same perpetrators who regularly fly-tip in the area, and it is residents of Wellington Road North. This area needs to be renevated, and cameras and warning signs installed. This is the only way to cease the endless reports of fly-tipping in the area. As an assigned Governor of our school I will be undertaking a weekly assessment of the perimeter of our school, and as such, you will be hearing from me regularly if this problem is not addressed.
