Cars parking on Derwent Road too close to the bus stops on either side and opposite the entrance to Regents Close causing issues getting in/out of the road particularly given the weight of traffic and the requirement for buses to stop. This is also causing uneven wear on one side of the road, particularly where road damage work has already recently taken place.

Sent to Colchester Borough Council 3 minutes later

Residents are parking there cars along Derwent Road, between the roundabout at the northern end and the northern entry/exit to Chinook. They are parking opposite the entry to Regents Close and a bus stop meaning that the road becomes blocked when a bus is required to stop and effectively turning Derwent Road, a busy thoroughfare, into a single track road. This is occurring at no other point along Derwent Road and is a relatively new problem, possibly because there are new residents to a number of the houses. This area needs to be yellow lined for safety reasons and/or parking time restrictions applied.
