The pavement outside 43 Bishops Avenue, BR1 3ET has been reported today as being fixed. I have just returned home and not that certain marked slabs have obviously be levelled out but I still consider that there is one marked in white which is still a tripping hazard and another one behind it is not very level. Furthermore where the repairs have been carried out the chunks of concrete and tree routes have just been left on the area where the tree is. Not very professional. Since my neighbours have seen this area marked for repair they have said how bad Palace View and Wanstead is and the whole of Bishops Avenue. My husband unfortunately had 2 nasty falls one in Wanstead and one at the top of Bishops Avenue all because of the state of the paving slabs. They both resulted in him having to be taken to A & E because the first one caused him to break his front teeth and another two were wobbly. The second resulted in him tripping up and smashing his glasses which also resulted in a nasty cut and bruising to his face. I wish I had taken this matter further but he became very ill after these incidents and I did not have the capacity to go down the route of reporting them. I wish I had now!
