I wish to report issues with Stirtingale Play Area in Kingsway. The swings are covered in dried on bird poo and can’t be used. There are also some deep holes near the climbing frame/slide that a child could easily get their foot caught on. Not sure if these have been dug by animals or humans. The grass is all overgrown and full of thistles and their are weeds everywhere and stinging nettles by the tyre swing which my daughter stung herself on. This park has been neglected for the last few year and now most of the footpaths leading to it are inaccessible as well as they are so overgrown.

We haven’t been here for 6 months and it has deteriorated. It’s not a nice space for children.

Hi there, this park is actually owned by Curo. I've contacted them about all these issues and they say they will come and fix these issues. Best regards Graham

We have looked into this issue and found it is not the council's responsibility. Please let the organisation responsible know instead. The report is now closed, further comments may not be monitored.
