Alcohol and smoking in children's playground
Reported anonymously at 18:08, Sun 25 August 2019
Sent to Sutton Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1744066.
Adults drinking alcohol in glass containers and smoking in the children's playground.
Men got lairy, children getting wary and steering clear.
Signage setting out what is not permitted needs to be more explicit and much more visible.

MBR ENQ Ref: EHR-ME18-5575 Re: Signage in Carshalton Park D/D 10/09/2019
Thank you for your enquiry regarding the drinking and anti social behaviour in Carshalton Park recently reported. We will inform the Safer Parks Police and ask them to monitor this location more closely. We will arrange for some signs to be put up with regards to the issues raised by the residents. Please see attached sign.

Thanks Elliot, it's great to see that Sutton Council are being really proactive. Unfortunately, the adults in question were 'looking after' children under 14. However, I am pleased to see that the Safer Parks Police team has been asked to monitor more closely.
