Barnet Work men
Reported in the Overflowing Litter Bin / Dog Bin category anonymously at 15:13, Tue 20 August 2019
Sent to Barnet Borough Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1738549.
The work men from Barnet council that are supposed to clean and put the rubbish bins on the allocated places in Basing Way estate are not doing they job, I just heard one of them saying ( leave the bin there it is easier for us next week we won't need to move this again). I am discussed with what I have witness. They just left the Estate and for months they keep leaving the rubbish bins on the road and not on the allocated spaces for the bins. This means the residents cannot park their cars and this bins are always overflowing with rubbish right in front of the buildings, the designated areas for the bins are supposed to protect the residents from stepping on rubbish but because the job is not being done, when the bins are full the wind carries rubbish trough the entire estate. I have asked them enormous times but they are lazy and do not care to put the bins in the right place. What a joke this is

The rubbish bins are still on the public road and nothing as been done about it. Barnet council does not seam to get they act together and work for the well-being of the residents or the public at large. The rubbish bins must be left on the allocated and removed from the road immediately. Litter is accumulating and bins are overflowing creating a hazardous environment. People keep dumping rubbish in and around the bins even if there is no space for more. Rubbish is being spread all around the estate with the wind and vermin are thriving in this sort of conditions creating a health risk. Can you please act as soon as possible and demand the bins being removed from the road. Thank you
