Overgrown grass verge on Entry Hill

Reported in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 09:05, Tue 28 May 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 4 minutes later

I had a helpful conversation with a member of the Parks and Green Spaces team approximately a month ago. The verge is overdue to be cut according to the council schedule, but I also asked for there to be a review of the maintenance of this area, as it is full of tangled bushes, brambles, trees and branches which overhang the narrow pavement, obstructing pedestrians. In my opinion a simple cut back will not address this issue and a more substantial removal of vegetation is needed.
