The problem that I am wishing to bring to your attention is with regard to off road parking at our address which is No 10 London Road. We have private parking for two car's and we paid for access across the pavement and maintain said drive with dropped kerb and edging. For 38years we have parked with no problems on the access drive causing no problems to pedestrians or traffic on the main road. There are double yellow lines across the access. But no signs to indicate any parking restrcutions. But we have had Civil Enforcement Officers issuing parking tickets to cars parked on said access. Can you please inform me to when Oxfordshire County Council decided to move the goal post's. This has been since 21st November 2016. As you will be aware London Road is a main Road with traffic going to Oxford and London etc. We have a Town Nursery, Holy Trinity School and Holy Trinity Church. and the new retail park with M.& and costa coffee. The Henry Cornish Care Home, The Health Centre, Hospital and Paramedic care unit. As well as the large residential housing estate and elder peoples bungalows. Traffic and parking is a problem with car's parking on the main road. By us parking on our access road we are parking off the main road therefore not causing traffic or pedestrians any inconvience. As car can park in Horsefair with out being tickited and they are again have double yellow lines and have 3 major road junctions and two roundabouts. We appreciate parking can be troublesome. Would like to see a happy outcome to said dilemma. Thanking you in anticipation. Daphne Allen (Mrs)
