Light not fixed.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1407408.
Ref:340693. This was reported in January 2018, and has not been fixed. Also to consider is the nights are getting darker and there is an old folks home up this road.

Many thanks for sending this through, sorry that this is not rectified , I appreciate being out this long isn't good enough. Looking at the report from our contractors there was a issue getting hold of the correct bracket as the lantern has failed completely.I have passed on to the inspector for the area to get to the bottom of this and get it repaired, sorry again and thank you for bringing this back to us.

People were impressed when they saw a man with a ladder mending the light, unfortunately, the light is still not working.

Thank you for your report, our contractor did attend and fitted a new lamp, fuse and connector. Unfortunately this did not appear to resolve the issue and we have raised an order to have a new bracket and lantern fitted which I will chase our contractor to fit

Nearly another year on and the light is not fixed!! Can you please let me know who to contact, so that we in Wards Road can get a rebate on our rates, which includes street lighting.
