Cars regularly park too close to lights
Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 12:54, Thu 2 August 2018
Sent to Wycombe District Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1378661.
Cars regularly park far too close to the junction here, leading to vehicles using the road being unable to get into place or even trigger the lights, and causes unavoidable obstruction when another vehicles attempt to enter the junction.
Needs a restriction of some sort

The parking on both sides of the road and to close to trafic lights is dangerous as this new road is becoming busy with more people using it, about time something was done, before there is an accident, also what if a fire engine needs access.

There is still a growing problem with parking on Hughenden Boulevard at this location. More and more cars are now using this road. Parking close to the junction is a dangerous hazard. I've witnessed a near miss. Please sort out some parking restrictions just here before a serious accident happens involving drivers unfamiliar with the problem. Regards.

This shows typical parking at the new Hughenden Boulevard junction. When cars are parked on both sides of the road there is insufficient space for vehicles travelling in opposite directions to pass. Any vehicle turning into Hughenden Boulevard has nowhere to go if there are even just a couple of cars waiting at the lights. It needs addressing.

How long is it going to take for this dangerous parking on both side of Hughenden Boulevard issue to be addressed today it was ridiculous trying to enter Hughenden Boulevard from Hughenden Avenue due to the constant flow of traffic exiting Hughenden Boulevard, and queue after traffic lights have changed. Please, please address this issue before there is an accident.

The problem is getting worse and worse. The road becomes very crowded with students parking everywhere, even underneath the traffic lights. I have never seen anything like it. This new road is completely ruined with random parking, speeding night and day at 60-70 mph!! Is the council going to make any action? it's ridiculous, why we pay that high council tax then?

So, it seems that the Council/Transport for Bucks is not responsible for maintaining the new Hughenden Boulevard. Please can the Council/Transport for Bucks state who is responsible (on this thread) so that all the issues/safety concerns regarding uncontrolled parking at this junction can passed on to the body responsible. Thank you.

Wycombe Council said this was a police issue, so I reported it to the Police on 1st November they gave me a ref no. URN595 and the person I spoke to was Amy. The parking is now getting worse as it is also causing a problem at the junction of Coates Lane T junction. It seems as no one wants to take responsibility all they seem to do is pass the buck, Please do something about this situation. If it is student parking then surely there is enough space on there grounds to make a carpark.

The parking on Hughenden Boulevard is becoming a real problem! You cannot turn safely in and out of our private car park as you cannot see up and down the road due to the parking! Construction workers, students, commuters and shoppers seem to think its acceptable to park on a residential road over junctions and on pedestrian crossings! This is an accident waiting to happen! Will it take a child being killed before you do something about this?
