Parked cars, dangerous junction

Reported anonymously at 11:51, Thu 14 October 2021

For many years this junction of Greenaway Lane and the rear of Devonshire Arms has been a busy junction with rush-house cars and school children approaching Beechen Cliff. For some unacceptable reason cars are allowed to park here, resulting in tight spaces (a fire-engine would struggle), and cars having to mount the pavement into school pedestrians' way to allow cars to pass that are trying to 'force' themselves onto Greenaway Lane. There are no bollards on the pavement to stop the mounting of pavements either. Solution: 1- yellow lines on Greenaway lines at this pinch point. 2-pavement bollards for pedestrian safety.
