Traffic light for cyclists is mistaken by motor vehicle drivers

Reported anonymously at 10:18, Sunday 2 May 2021

Mainly at night, when a cyclist gets a green light in the separate cycle lane for turning left, the cars in the adjacent trafgic lane going straight mistaken it for their traffic light and drive off almost hitting the right-turning cyclists. The traffic light for cyclists fir turning right should be turned or otherwise obstructed for motorists so that it cannot be seen.
