Ongoing issue with request for paving stones

Reported anonymously at 16:55, Wed 28 October 2020

Disagreement with the works completed in 2016 outside 50 St Stephen's road. When resurfacing the pavement outside number 50, the work of the pavement was left open for some time, as Hounslow Highways contractors were waiting on the requested paving stones so they could achieve like for like replacement which was agreed with the resident and Hounslow Highways. In the meantime, a complaint was logged about the incompleted works on the pavement. Due the complaint the quickly covered the open works with tarmac, which caused dissatisfaction with the resident due to alternative planned works agreed with resident and also it doesn't fit in with the agreement of the resident or the conservation team. The request for the pavement stones to be replaced has been ongoing for nearly 4 years and consistent requests have been made by resident. This issue has been brought to Satbir Gill's attention and Councillor Victkram Grewal of Hounslow Heath.
