Gate post broken leaving raised metal edge

Reported anonymously at 16:38, Fri 20 September 2019

Metal gate post has been broken. Sharp shard left over. Dangerous to dog sand walkers. This is the start of the public footpath and part of the Wansdyke scheduled ancient monument. The gate is also next to the school and children wait here and sit on gate (probably why it is broken). Replacement gate needed as well as access point to footpath. If this was a kissing gate it would also scramble bikes being ridden illegally along the footpath.
